It redecorated the Gagarinskaya station named after the first Soviet cosmonaut

The stairs were equipped with spaceship-like handrails…

Designer Igor Elchenko transformed it into a kind of a spaceship

Spacecraft windows with Gagarin’s portrait inside appeared on the walls

Initially the walls were covered with granite and marble with steel fragments

Distance from Gagarinskaya station to the next one, Zaeltsovskaya, is the shortest in the system
